Hank never lied about Kuby's whereabouts, he told Huell that he was missing, which is true. He did put the thought in Huell's head that he was possibly dead, in order to interrogate Huell more efficiently, though. The truth is Hank, as well as Gomez, have no idea where Patrick Kuby is located. I'd imagine both would presume him to be deceased ... I was rewatching some old BrBa episodes now that BCS season 1 is over. And I noticed that when Skyler came up with the plan to scam Bogdan into selling the car wash, Patrick Kuby (Bill Burr) claimed that the water is polluted and threatened to shut down their bussiness. But Bogdan said it was "OK with the previous guy". So whether the water is ... Once his secret was out, there was no reason for Walt to "have" anyone killed except Todd and Jack's crew. Even killing Lydia was simply an act of anger. Last time Walt saw Kuby they were friendly and the circumstances never would have changed that.. Yes! As soon I saw Dr. Caldera on the phone the thought popped into my head "What if it's Kuby he's talking too?!" and I got really excited. Patrick Kuby (SA, IM) - Okay, for the record, I do not think Patrick Kuby's an idiot. It's just that there really weren't any obvious contenders for this category, and I don't think he's as smart as Mike or Gus. But putting that aside, Kuby's pretty competent. He does his job well, he's a great and charismatic actor, and
